FROM THE BOOK FAERY REVIEWS…Rebecca Hagan Lee’s Free Fellow League Series was an enjoyable and fast read. Going back in time is something I love to do and the Regency period is one of my favorite. So many things were considered “inappropriate” compared to today’s time, the mannerisms of the sexes were different, homes seemed so grand with the many servants, nightly “galas” of dancing and socializing, and of course the beautiful dresses of the time. I enjoyed this series of passion and political suspense based in the Regency period. Prior to reading the story of Daniel and Miranda, I thought for SURE they would be my favorite couple and couldn’t of course wait to get to their book as I enjoyed their constant bantering of each other through the other stories. I just knew they’d have a passionate love for each other beneath the surface. I just think it lacked what I expected because I felt Miranda surrendered too much within this story. In the end I enjoyed Jarrod and Sarah’s story more. Probably because like them, my own husband and I have known each other since we were children. Plus who wouldn’t love the thrill of someone who would duel over you!
